Laochra óga i gConamara!
On Friday 12th of April, young Gaels from the Gaeltacht Quarter set off for Conamara Gaeltacht, to compete in Ógchomórtas Peile na Gaeltachta.It was the sixth consecutive year that young players from Coláiste Feirste in cooperation with Laochra Loch Lao have competed in the competition and the second time the ladies have fielded.

Odhrán Ó Coigligh - Buaiteoir an Chomórtais KUKRI
Year 10 pupil, Odhrán Ó Coigligh, recently won a competition where the winner received an entire school kit for the ladies football team. Odhrán designed the kit himself and won by 68 votes in the end. Article from Gaelic Life.

The stunning backdrop of Mount Blanc was home to staff and pupils from Coláiste Feirste recently during our annual ski trip. This year, we ventured to the French Alps, where accompanying staff were exceptionally proud of our young Gaels who were fine ambassadors for the school during their time away.
